On 24 March 2025, the Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) announced a non-binding agreement with Crypto.com to launch "Made in America"-focused exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and other exchange-traded products through its Truth.Fi fintech brand. The collaboration between the Trump-affiliated company and the Singapore-based cryptocurrency platform aims to create ETFs comprising both digital assets and securities, spanning various industries with a particular emphasis on American manufacturing and the energy sector.
The proposed ETFs will include a bespoke cryptocurrency basket featuring Bitcoin and the Cronos token, with Crypto.com providing the underlying technology, custody services, and cryptocurrencies. We intend to establish innovative funds that encompass companies focused on rapid growth, technological innovation, and strengthening the American economy, free from woke nonsense and political posturing, stated Devin Nunes, CEO of TMTG. As part of the partnership, Crypto.com’s broker-dealer arm, Foris Capital US, will distribute the products, which—subject to regulatory approval—are slated to become available internationally later in 2025, including in the United States, Europe, and Asia. The ETF offerings will be introduced alongside Truth.
Fi’s separately managed accounts (SMAs), into which TMTG may invest up to $250 million from its own reserves, with custody provided by Charles Schwab. The partnership gains added significance following President Trump’s signing of an executive order in March to establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. Additionally, in February, Trump Media filed trademark applications for six investment products, including the Truth.Fi Bitcoin Plus ETF, the Truth.Fi Made in America ETF, and the Truth.Fi U.S. Energy Independence ETF.
